Character Name: Giulia

Character Age: 13.
Giulia is a child of divorce and her parents have shared custody. She spends her summers with her father in the small fishing town of Portorosso where she struggles to make friends and is bullied by the town jerk, Ercole and his cronies. Money is tight for her father and she works helping him do deliveries in his pescheria. When she finally makes friends it's with a pair of seamonster boys. And eventually she has to lead a protest to try to protect them from being straight up murdered by the people of Portorosso. All of these things show that while she is young she is emotionally mature enough to handle darker situations and themes.

What Did Your Character Wish For?
She wished for her father's pescheria to do well so money won't be so tight. It's been hard to watch him struggle to make ends meet at times.

1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon? Or who is someone they miss the most?
Probably her parents. We don't really see her relationship with her mother, but she clearly does have a close bond with her father. She helps out at his pescheria when she spends the summer with him, making deliveries. When he tells her money is tight she's quick to offer to do more shifts to earn the money.

2. What are they most afraid of?
Losing the people she cares about. Especially her friends who are seamonsters and were nearly killed whem they were discovered. Tends to leave an impression when people try to murder your best friends in front of you. As a child of divorce likely also contributes to this fear of loss. She travels between two places to spend time with both her parents who live in different places. And that kind of upheaval can leave a lot of room for uncertainty and fear.

3. What is their weakness? Emotionally, mentally and physically?
Giulia struggles to make friends, tends to be overly stubborn and hard-headed and tends to get in over her head. Her struggles to make friends is most likely a combination of being deemed 'too much' (she has the reaction of asking if she's too much at one point after getting excited) and being the target of Ercole's bullying. Likely singled out due to her over-exhuberance and how she doesn't back down from him.

4. What would make them happiest?
She just wants to have friends and have fun like any girl her age. And also win things. She enjoys winning, as shown with the Portorosso cup. She seems a lot happier once she befriends Luca and Alberto.

5. What’s their type for a lover friends?
She's too young for a lover so her ideal friend would be someone she can have fun with. Who's sense of humor matches up with hers. Someone who shares her interests and hobbies.
